 7/19/2010   Romania FC Wins Tournament of Champions
  All- Please help us congratulate Romania FC for winning the Tournament of Champions. After losing in the final of the Illinois Over-30 State Cup, they moved onto the Midwest Tournament of Champions where they WON!!! This is a great result for the PSL, and once again CONGRATULATIONS, ROMANIA FC!!! The PSL Board is proud of you. Midwest Champions...

 
 2/23/2010   Registration Meeting March 10, 2010
  Team Managers – It is time to once again begin thinking and organizing your 2010 outdoor squad for the Premier Soccer League. We will be taking registrations on March 10, 2010 from 7-9pm. You will not have to be there at exactly 7, and once everything is paid, and information is accurate, you can go. First come, first served. League Registration Meeting – Save the Date – is March 10th 2010 • $600 PSL fee is due in full – No exceptions • Game sheets will only be given, once fees paid. • All ISSA Fines must be paid – You will not be allowed to enter a team until your ISSA fines are paid!!!!! Location Soccer City – Palatine 7pm-9pm 545 Consumers Avenue Palatine, IL (Take Rt 53 to Northwest Highway, go East. Turn left at first light.) Downstairs North of fields 2010 Fees: • $600 PSL Registration Fee (Paid directly to the PSL before season begins) • $24/player - Player Pass Fees (Paid directly to ISSA) (Fees went up due to increased insurance limits for the PSL) • Referee Fees Major Division - $70 Head Referee - $50x2 for linesman fees (Total $85 per team per game) • Referee Fees First Division - $70 Head Referee - (Total $35 per team per game) • ** New Team Initiation fees (One Time Fee) - $200 (New Teams only) • Woodland Meadows Fees ($725 for the season – Must be paid by March 10h or fields will open up.) o Sunday Teams grandfathered for North/Middle fields in 2010 –Manzanilla FC, CF Jaguares, Chicago Tanks FC, Shogun Wind Key Dates • 3/10 – All Teams to be Registered • 3/19 League Schedules - Target Completion for league schedules is March 19th (at least first full draft) • 4/25 – Games Begin

 
 12/6/2009   End of the Year meeting
  Wednesday Dec.16-09 begining at 7.00 PM Election to the PSL board. Trophies awards and season party.

 
 11/15/2009   Men's Open Finals
  Congratulations to the Naperville Strikers FC team, who won the PSL Men's Open Cup by defeating Elk Grove Arsenal 1-0.

 
 11/1/2009   11-1-09 ALL GAMES ON!
  Elk Grove VIllage played all kids tournament games on Saturday. All games at Woodland Meadows today are playing as scheduled.

 
 10/25/2009   SLAVIA Wins Red Division
  Slavia Wins Red Division AGAIN! In a battle of Bulgarian teams, Slavia wins 2-0 to enter the SuperCup! They wait the winners of the White division next weekend. Congrats to Slavia!

 
 6/15/2009   State Cup game
  Come help cheer on one of our teams from the Over-30 White division, Romania as they take on Inter Crystal Lake in a State Cup match. The game is this Wednesday, June 17th 2009, 8:00 pm at Olympic Park in Schaumburg, IL (Schaumburg rt53/Old Schaumburg rd)

  Location. Soccer City - Palatine 7PM-9PM March 11TH Wednesday 545 Consumers Ave. Palatine. (Take Rd 53 to Norhwest Hwy go east turn left at first street after light) Upstairs Rm.

 
 11/26/2008   2008 End of Year Meeting
  This year we will be having our end of season party and awards on Thurs. Dec 11, 2008 beginning at 7PM. Location: Rose Garden Cafe 111 East Higgins Road Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 (847) 952-1881 We will be downstairs in the banquest area. The League will purchase appetizers, and pick up the beer tab. We will be handing out awards and discussing and voting on future league business. This is a MANDATORY meeting, please ensure to have at least 1 representative from your team present. - NSSL Board

 
 11/26/2008   2008 Men's Open Cup
  We had an exciting finish to the Open cup Final with Highlanders defeating Elk Grove (3:2) (6-5 PK's). Congratulations to the Highlanders. In the 3rd place game, Geneva defeated Naperville 4-3.

 
 11/17/2008   Over-30 SUPER CUP CHAMPION !!!!
  St Charles White 2, Pampas 0. White wins the inaugural Super Cup!! Congrats on coming together at the right time!!!

 
 11/10/2008   Over-30/38 Tournament Results
  On Sat. for the Over-30 Red division: 3rd Place: Slavia 6, Balkan 4 Tournament Championship: Pampas beat FC Tarnovia 3-1 On Sun for the Over-30 White division: 3rd Place: Rhinos beat Park Ridge Tournament Championship: St Charles Celtics White 2 – Romania FC 1 On Sun for the Over-38 Green division: 3rd Place: St Charles Celtics Blue 8 – St Charles Celtics Green 3 Tournament Championship: Real Wilmette 1 – International 38+ 0 The SUPER CUP will be this Saturday, between the winner of the White and Red divisions for bragging rights. On Saturday evening at 4pm, at Olympic park in Schaumburg under the lights, Pampas will play St Charles Celtics White… A little cold, but some excellent soccer. Trophies will be handed out at the league meeting TBA…
